Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) news agency received the Best News Item Award 2022-2023 in the competition of the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN), at the end of the 31st session of the General Meeting which took place on Thursday in Djerba.
Journalist Ahmed Gaddeh was presented with the award for his report “Conservationists join forces to protect endangered sea turtles in Monastir”, chosen from among 9 other news items submitted to the competition, in which nine news agencies took part.
The best photo award went to the Turkish news agency Anadolu for its report on the earthquake in Turkey. The photo was chosen from 8 entries.
