Seoul:Angola and South Korea are set to strengthen their cooperation in the energy sector, with key discussions and meetings scheduled during the visit of Angola's Minister of Energy and Water, Jooo Baptista Borges, to South Korea.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the Angolan minister arrived in Seoul, where he was welcomed by Sianga Abílio, the Angolan ambassador to South Korea. The visit aims to bolster bilateral cooperation and attract financing for energy projects in Angola.
Borges' agenda includes meetings with South Korea's Minister of Climate and the Executive Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of South Korea. Additionally, the program features visits to the solar energy facilities of the Hanwha company. This trip forms part of Angola's efforts to mobilize funding and develop major projects in the energy and water sectors.
