The inaugural edition includes 189 participating associations, although it is open to all 211 FIFA Member Associations. Matches are played by two teams of eight players each, in two 20-minute halves.
The competition's second phase is divided into six divisions, from A to F, based on the standings from the initial group stage. Group winners advance to Division A, runners-up to Division B, and so on, down to Division F for the sixth-placed teams. The second phase features knockout matches, with each division crowning a winner. However, only the first-placed team in Division A will be declared the champion of the 2026 Edition.
