Abidjan: Angola is taking part in the 12th edition of the Africa CEO Forum 2025, which is being held from May 12 to 13 in Abidjan, C´te d'Ivoire. This year's event focuses on accelerating the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) among other key issues.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the country is represented by the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Jos© de Lima Massano. The forum is themed "Can a new agreement between the state and the private sector deliver the continent a winning hand?" and seeks to enhance collaboration between governments and private enterprises to foster sustainable development across Africa.
Key discussions at the forum revolve around improving governance and accountability, crafting effective public policies, and hastening the implementation of the AfCFTA. The event has gathered over 2,000 participants, including business leaders, investors, heads of state, and ministers from more than 75 countries.
