According to Angola Press News Agency, supporters have expressed high hopes for the national team's performance, especially after a promising draw against Egypt in the opening game. Helder Ngola highlighted the positive impact of head coach Aliou Cissé's new mindset, predicting a 3-0 victory for Angola and urging fans to fill the 11 de Novembro Stadium.
Tomé Kuamba also voiced his support, anticipating the team's first win in the qualifiers. Portássio Gonga echoed this sentiment, forecasting a 3-0 win with goals from Zine Salvador and Mabulu.
In contrast, Abílio de Oliveira acknowledged Angola's past struggles against supposedly weaker opponents but remained hopeful for a victory that would see them join Egypt at the top of the group standings.
Otilia Bendinha expects a tightly contested match, predicting a scoreless draw, yet she encouraged fans to support the team in person at the stadium.
