Angola International Fair 2025 Kicks Off with Record Participation

Luanda: The 40th edition of the Angola International Fair (FILDA) opened on Tuesday in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) of the Icolo e Bengo province. The Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Jos© de Lima Massano, presided over the opening.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Angola's largest business fair brings together 2,000 companies from various sectors and 19 invited countries, surpassing the 1,707 exhibitors at FILDA in 2024. In addition to marking the event's 40th anniversary, this year's edition of FILDA is taking place as Angola prepares to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Independence on November 11.

During the six-day event, exhibitors will engage in high-level networking, exchange experiences and contacts, close deals, and gain direct access to investors and brand exposure, according to government projections. Some of the topics scheduled for the debate session that will conclude with the Golden Lions Gala include "Decisions Under Pressure: Burnout, Mental Health, and the Impact on Life Choices," "The Capital Market in Angola," "Success Stories of Institutions," "Accelerate Your Company," "The Evolution of Foreign Trade in the 50 Years of Independence," and "The Adoption of Digital in International Trade in Angola."

According to the organizers, compared to previous editions, this year's Angola International Fair will feature 93% participation from national companies. It will also have an Angolan cultural hall with exhibitions of visual arts and literature, as well as poetry, music, dance, and other performances representing the country's 21 provinces.
