Geneva: Angola presented several products under the "Made in Angola" brand and information about the country's current economic situation during the annual edition of the Swiss-African Business Day, held over the weekend in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to Angola Press News Agency, a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Switzerland highlighted economic opportunities and progress in improving the business environment in Angola. The event attracted more than 350 business leaders, investors, and policymakers from 30 countries, aimed at forging new partnerships.
The Swiss-African Business Day was organized in collaboration with the Swiss-African Business Circle, focusing on strengthening economic ties between Switzerland and Africa. The event operated under the auspices of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and adopted the theme "Africa in a New Global Economy: Trade, Capital, Impact."
The event featured various panels, networking opportunities, and workshops dedicated to exploring emerging patterns in African global trade, access to capital, and sustainable investment strategies. Angolan ambassador to Switzerland, Filomena Delgado, also participated in the event, highlighting Angola's commitment to enhancing its economic footprint in the global market.
