Bern: Angola's opportunities and tourism potentials were highlighted in Switzerland during the 62nd anniversary of Africa Day, which was celebrated on May 25. The event took place on Wednesday, organized by the African Group of accredited ambassadors in partnership with the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the Angolan delegation was led by the business officer and Minister Counselor, Estevo Alberto. The team presented Angola's economic potential, showcasing national culture through gastronomy, art, music, dance, and locally made products. An institutional video was displayed, highlighting Angola's development paths in various domains.
During the event, the dean of the African group of ambassadors, L©onard Henri Bindzi from Cameroon, emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between Switzerland and Africa. He advocated for mutual respect and closer cooperation, promoting reciprocal advantages within the framework of a new strategy for the African continent.
The ceremony was attended by politicians, diplomats, entrepreneurs, resident African communities, members of Swiss civil society, among others.
