Nairobi: Angola began the CHAN 2025 African Championship with a 0-2 defeat to Morocco, giving them a poor start to their quest to win their first title in a competition taking place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. According to Angola Press News Agency, playing in Group A, based in Kenya, the match between these two teams, who faced each other for the first time in the competition's history, was played at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi. The goals were scored by Imad Riahi in the 29th minute and Quinito (own goal) in the 81st.
