Angola wooing investors at African oil, gas conference

Luanda – National Agency for Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) has been participating since Monday in the oil and gas conference, in a move believed to seeking to attract investors for the Angolan market.

The South Africa’s city, Cape Town,  hosts the event, called “Africa Oil Week” – the largest industry summit on the African continent, and which runs until the 9th of October.

Angolan delegation led by the executive director of the ANPG, Natacha Massano, will promote the potential of the country’s market, while participating in several panels.

The agenda features meetings, as part of the investor attraction strategy.

So far, the Angolan delegation has already held meetings with top managers from entities.

They include Apache, Afentra, ExxonMobil, TGS, PGS, Petronas, BMW Energy, Sinopec, and Natura Energy, reserving the agenda for more meetings for the following days.

With more than 25 years of achievements, the Africa Oil Week conference has already brought together more than 50 ministers and government leaders, 300 speakers, in a universe of 2,000 senior delegates in five days.

The objective is to boost the investment and enhance business , thus shaping Africa’s future.
