Angolan Ambassador presents credentials in East Timor

Luanda – The Angolan diplomat Daniel Rosa presented, this Friday, to the President of East Timor, Francisco Lu-Olo, the Letters of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (non-resident) of Angola in that Southeast Asian country.

According to a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Singapore, where Daniel Rosa is resident ambassador, the ceremony took place virtually and was presided over by the Timorese Head of State, from the Presidential Palace of Aitarak Laran.

This modality is part of the accreditation procedures for several resident and non-resident ambassadors, due to the restrictions to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Besides East Timor, Daniel Rosa is also Angola’s ambassador to New Zealand, Australia, Brunei, Philippines, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, Indonesia, Kiribati, New Zealand, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and Tuvalu.
