Luanda – The ambassador of Angola in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Nelson Cosme, on Friday morning visited Sagrada Esperança football team of Lunda Norte, which at 5 p.m. play against Zamalek of Egypt.
The game linked to the last round (group D) of the group stage of the League of African Football Champion Clubs.
To the athletes, the diplomat conveyed his support and encouragement, calling for responsibility and “fair play” during the match, from which he expects a positive score.
He exhorted them to meet this challenge with a spirit of mission, in order to once again raise the name of Angola.
In the current competition, the Angolan team have not won any victory and, like the opponent later. They are already out of the next phase, to which Petro de Luanda also compete.
Petro de Luanda (second in the group with 11 points) face Saturday away against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco (first with 12), both already qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition.
In the match, only the leaders of the group will be in dispute.
