Gaborone: The Angolan Entrepreneurs Club has confirmed its participation in the Africa Youth Agri-Food Systems Expo, scheduled to take place in Gaborone, Botswana, from the 6th to the 7th of this month.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the chairman of the Angolan Entrepreneurs Club, Cairo Egypto, revealed that Angola received an invitation from the SADC Youth Parliament to join discussions on pivotal topics such as "Free Trade in the Southern African Region".
In a statement to ANGOP, Cairo Egypto, who is set to represent Angola at the event, mentioned that the expo will also feature other delegates from Southern African countries, members of the Botswana government, and various international organizations.
"We will be strengthening partnerships and cooperation to further develop the Free Trade Zone in this southern region of the African continent," he stated. Egypto highlighted the significance of the event coinciding with the Angolan government's efforts to diversify its national economy.
