Accra: An exhibition of art objects, illustrative images, and literary works by Angolan writers kicked off on Monday in Accra, Ghana, to celebrate the 49th anniversary of National Independence, marked on November 11.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the event, which will take place until the 14th of this month, is available to all those interested in learning more about Angola and its economic, tourist, and infrastructure potential. This initiative is spearheaded by the diplomatic mission in Ghana.
At the opening of the exhibition, the Angolan ambassador to Ghana, João Baptista Quiosa, remarked that November 11th is a memorable date for all Angolans. He emphasized that the occasion should serve to reinforce bonds of brotherhood, solidarity, and good coexistence. He urged all Angolans, wherever they are, to salute and recognize the achievements of those who fought for the country’s independence.
