Angolan Police Investigate Murder Near DRC Border

Luvo:A man was found dead with his arms bound and face covered in adhesive tape on Thursday in a wooded area near Luvo, a border town. According to Angola Press News Agency, the victim, identified as Pedro Ntiama, had multiple abrasions and showed signs of assault and asphyxiation before being dumped in the Luvuvamu neighborhood. Luís Bernardo, spokesperson for the National Police in Angola's northwestern Zaire province, stated that the nature of the circumstances suggests the involvement of third parties. Angolan police, alongside the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), have initiated an investigation to identify and locate the suspects involved in this incident. Authorities noted that this is the first murder of such nature recorded in Luvo since the start of the year.
