Luanda: Angolan President Joo Louren§o has urged newly appointed ambassadors to uphold the nation's reputation as they assume their diplomatic duties. During an inauguration ceremony, he encouraged the diplomats to promote Angola's good name in South Africa and the Republic of Ghana, where they have been newly assigned.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the President expressed his best wishes to Rui Orlando Xavier, who will serve as ambassador to Ghana, and Joo Baptista Domingos Quiosa, who will represent Angola in South Africa. He highlighted that this change is a straightforward exchange of positions and conveyed his confidence in the continued success of Angola's diplomatic missions abroad.
