ANGOLAN PRESIDENT SENDS MESSAGE TO KENYA COUNTERPART

Luanda – Angolan head of State João Lourenço has sent a message to his Kenyan counterpart, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, according to the Information Technologies, Institutional Communication and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The source states that the message was delivered Thursday in Nairobi by Foreign Affairs minister, Tete Antonio, during 24-hour working visit to Kenya at the invitation of his counterpart, Raychelle Omamo.

Delegations from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Angola and Kenya analysed the state of cooperation of the two countries.

The cooperation between Angola and Kenya is based on three legal instruments signed in 2012.

They are General Agreement on Technical Scientific and Cultural Economic Cooperation, the Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kenyan counterpart, as well as the agreement on the creation of the Bilateral Commission.
