Angola’s Global Projection in World Tourism Recognized

Luanda: Angolan tourism is consolidating itself as one of the main pillars of the country's economic diversification, the result of a strategy based on valuing national identity, promoting its destinations internationally, and attracting investment, stated Julia Kleber, CEO of the consulting Kleber Group, on Thursday in Luanda. Speaking at the "Angola Investment Summit 2026," she highlighted the transformation that Angola has been undergoing in recent years in the international tourism landscape, emphasizing the country's potential as a benchmark destination in Africa.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Kleber emphasized that the collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism stemmed from the recognition that Angola already boasts a rich and authentic history, marked by natural attractions such as Calandula Falls, the Namibe Desert, and over 1,600 kilometers of Atlantic coastline, along with the cultural diversity of its people. "Angola didn't need a new story, because the story already existed. The challenge was to help the world hear it," she stated.

Kleber highlighted the brand "Visit Angola - The Rhythm of Life," which serves as a national slogan integrating tourism, culture, investment, innovation, and social development. Thanks to efforts in recent years, Angola is attracting greater international interest, drawing journalists, tour operators, investors, digital influencers, and media outlets from various countries. The country has increased its presence in major international forums and trade fairs, becoming an active participant and, at times, a protagonist in discussions about the future of tourism.

Kleber noted that international awards, global partnerships, and agreements are significant achievements and mark the beginning of a broader economic and social transformation. "The goal is to create opportunities for entrepreneurs, communities, young people, and future generations," she said. She acknowledged Angola's potential to establish itself simultaneously as a tourist destination, a business center, a cultural hub, and a trusted space for international investors.

The Kleber Group specializes in consulting for travel, luxury, lifestyle, real estate, and sustainability, collaborating with key partners in both public and private sectors. Its mission is to empower clients to achieve their goals in a dynamic, constantly transforming world through personalized investment, marketing, and 360° communication strategies.

The event, organized by the Angolan government in partnership with the Global Tourism Forum Institute (GTFI), is one of the most prestigious international platforms for promoting investment and tourism development. The Angola Investment Summit aims to promote concrete investment opportunities, strengthen public-private partnerships, and boost new projects capable of generating employment, economic growth, and sustainable development for the country.
