Malanje – Baixa de Cassanje lost 1-0 on Sunday to Desportivo J.M do Dulo from Lunda Sul, in the opening game of group B of the national second division football championship 2022.
With this score, Baixa de cassanje entered the quest for a spot in the national first division football championship.
The single goal of the match was scored at minute 74 minutes by Nelo that gave new life to Desportivo do Dulo to progress to first division.
Samuel Quingungo, assistant-coach of Baixa de Cassanje, said his team unlucky, since the players had a good performance and did everything, but could not finish the goal opportunities created in the game.
Kidimu Pedro, Desportivo J.M do Dulo coach, stressed that the victory came at a good time, which pushes the athletes for the upcoming matches.
Baixa de Cassanje face Mundo Verde on saturday, while also part of group B, Sport Clube and Escolinha de Benguela clash themselves on the same day.
