Luanda: The 48th Men's Senior National Basketball Championship is set to commence on November 7, as announced by the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB).
According to Angola Press News Agency, the competition drawing is scheduled to occur in Luanda on October 1, although the specific venue is yet to be disclosed. Petro de Luanda will enter the championship as the defending champion, while Ferroviario de Angola makes a comeback to the competition after over two decades of absence.
Teams will initially compete in a round-robin format. In the subsequent phase, they will be divided into two groups. The first group will feature the top six teams from the initial stage, who will then advance to the playoffs.
