Luanda: Banco de Cr©dito do Sul (BCS) and Mastercard have recently entered into an agreement focused on introducing and expanding the benefits of debit and credit cards in Angola. This strategic collaboration aims to cater to the increasing demand for more efficient, quick, and secure payment solutions in the country.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the partnership will facilitate the expansion of contactless card payments and improve payment capabilities in e-commerce, enabling smoother transactions both in physical stores and online. The initiative also promises eligible cardholders access to 'The Mastercard Collection', which offers exclusive benefits in dining, entertainment, and travel.
The Mastercard Collection will provide Angolan consumers with unique dining experiences, selected travel deals, and other opportunities, both locally and internationally. Mastercard's Division President for Africa, Gabri«l Swanepoel, emphasized that this partnership underscores the company's dedication to enhancing the payment experience for consumers in Angola.
BCS's CEO, Rafael Arcanjo Kapose, stated that the agreement with Mastercard marks a significant milestone in improving the customer experience, aligning with BCS's goals to offer superior services. As a global payments technology entity, Mastercard continues to process financial transactions between customers' banks and card-issuing institutions, reinforcing its position as a leader in the digital payments landscape.
