Boulgou: The rehabilitation work on the bridge located on the Bittou-Cinkansé axis in the Nakambé region has been completed thanks to a synergy of action between the Defense and Security Forces and the local population, keen to restore a vital link in the road network, noted AIB. According to Burkina Information Agency, the bridge had been damaged by bad weather and the effect of overloading heavy goods vehicles, raising concerns for several weeks among users of the Bittou-Cinkansé axis. This axis is an important economic corridor linking Burkina Faso to Togo. The swift rehabilitation, completed in just three days, was achieved through the combined efforts of technicians who were driven by a spirit of resilience and patriotic commitment. The work, supervised by the Defense and Security Forces, involved strengthening the bridge's supporting structures and securing the surrounding area to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow. The mobilization of a large number of people was a valuable contribution to the proje ct. Ibrahim Zampaligré, a local resident, expressed his satisfaction with the rapid restoration of the bridge. He thanked the authorities for their prompt action and the defense and security forces for their presence during the construction work. Furthermore, he urged carriers to comply with government regulations to safeguard such structures.
