Burkina Faso’s President Justifies Fight Against Terrorism Amidst Attacks

Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, has emphasized the legitimacy of Burkina Faso's ongoing fight against terrorism, asserting that the nation is compelled to defend itself due to external aggression. During his visit to P´, a region known for its commando training center, Captain Traor© made it clear that the country's actions are reactionary and not initiated by choice.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain Traor© described the threat of terrorism as a modern attempt at recolonization aimed at exploiting Africa's abundant resources. "We are not fighting because we want to fight. We are fighting because we have been attacked," he asserted, highlighting the necessity of their defensive stance.

President Traor© further elaborated on the motivations behind the aggression, suggesting that the ultimate goal of terrorists is to seize the continent's valuable lands. He stressed the importance of understanding the aggressors' objectives to effectively counter their advances and urged those on the front lines to remain committed to safeguarding the legacy of their forebears.
