Cabinda Exports 150 Tons of Agricultural Products to Congo

Cabinda: At least 150 tons of various agricultural products were exported to the Republic of Congo this year by the agricultural production unit "Silvano Sambo," located in the municipality of Cacongo in Cabinda province, the company's owner, Silvano Sambo, told ANGOP on Tuesday.

According to Angola Press News Agency, cassava and bananas were among the most exported products, with the company having produced more than 300 tons of various products in the past agricultural season. A considerable part of the production was sold within the country, while the remainder was exported to the neighboring Republic of Congo.

Sambo added that the Silvano Sambo agricultural unit has a total production area of 43 hectares dedicated to cultivating tubers, bananas, cowpeas, legumes, and vegetables. Additionally, the unit maintains a seven-hectare area where 1,100 palm trees have been planted for palm oil production.

The Silvano Sambo agricultural production unit, which has been operational for over five years, consistently exports more than 100 tons of products annually to the Republic of Congo.
