Tunisia’s Aziz Dougaz (world No.257) pairing up with French Antoine Escoffier Sunday won the Torneo Internacional Challenger León (Mexico) after defeating Michail Pervolarakis (Greece)/Maximilian Neuchrist (Austria) duo 7-6, 3-6, 10-5.
This is the first doubles title for the Tunisian player (ATP Tour). The pair reached the final after cruising past Luke Saville (Australia)/Hans Hach Verdugo (Mexico) duo (6-4, 6-4).
In singles, Aziz Dougaz conceded defeat Saturday in semi-finals to Argentina’s Juan Pablo Ficovich (6-3, 4-6, 4-6).
