Cabinda:A traffic accident occurred in Angola's northern province of Cabinda when a 40-foot shipping container fell onto a school transport vehicle, killing the driver instantly.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the incident took place on Wednesday along National Road 100 in the locality of Mbuco, within the municipality of Liambo. Witnesses reported that a heavy transport vehicle executed an irregular maneuver, causing the container to dislodge and fall onto the smaller vehicle below.
Two young children, aged three and five, who were passengers in the vehicle, miraculously survived. One child sustained minor injuries, while the other was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.
The body of the deceased driver was transported to the morgue at the Cabinda Provincial Hospital.
