COVID-19: 13 DEATHS, 128 NEW INFECTIONS IN LAST 24 HOURS

Luanda – Angola reported Sunday 13 deaths, 128 new cases and 34 recoveries in the last 24 hours, according to the statistics contained in the daily bulletin.

The deaths were reported in the provinces of Benguela 4, Luanda 3, Huíla 2, Namibe 2, Cuando Cubango 1, and Huambo 1.

As for the new cases, 88 were detected in Luanda, 8 in Bié, 8 in Benguela, 7 in Moxico, 5 in Lunda Sul, 5 in Namibe, 3 in Cunene, 2 in Cuando Cubango and 1 in Cabinda.

The new cases feature 69 male and female 59 patients with ages ranging from 6 months to 76 years old.

The recovered patients, 15 are residing in Moxico, 11 in Cunene, 6 in Lunda Sul, 1 in Cuando Cubango and 1 in Luanda.

The source also announced 124 patients as being hospitalised in the treatment centers, while 231 are in institutional quarantine.

Still, 814 positive cases are under epidemiological surveillance.

Angola has 45,945 cases, 1,153 deaths, 42,384 recoveries and 2,408 active patients.
