Luanda – The Angolan health authorities announced this Saturday the registration of 145 new Covid-19 cases in Angola, 106 recoveries and 6 deaths from this pandemic disease.
Among the new cases, 79 were recorded in the Province of Luanda, 28 in Huambo, 11 in Huila, 10 in Cuanza Norte, 8 in Malanje, 5 in Zaire, 2 in Namibe, 1 in Benguela and 1 in Cunene.
With ages ranging from 8 months to 87 years, the new cases include 73 males and 72 females.
According to this latest official update on the incidence of Covid-19 in Angola, of the recovered cases 66 reside in Luanda, 18 in Huambo, 14 in Huila, 6 in Benguela and 2 in Lunda Sul.
Still in the last 24 hours, the country’s laboratories processed 1,690 samples.
With these new data, the country now has a total of 36,600 positive cases, 825 deaths, plus 30,207 recoveries and 5,568 active cases.
Angop also learnt that of the active cases 14 are in critical condition, 31 serious, 93 moderate, 21 mild and 5,409 asymptomatic.
