Covid-19: Angola records 3,022 recoveries, 476 new cases

Luanda – At least 3,022 patients recovered, 10 deaths and 476 new infections is the balance of the last 24 hours released this Saturday by health authorities.

According to the daily bulletin, among the recovered patients, 2,632 live in Luanda, 215 in Huambo, 127 in Cabinda, 35 in Benguela, 7 in Lunda Sul and 6 in Bié.

The new cases were diagnosed in Luanda, with 363, Benguela with 41, Huambo with 34, Bié with 18, Lunda Sul with 15 and Malanje with 5 positive.

With ages ranging from 1 to 83, 250 are male and 226 are female patients.

In the last 24 hours, the laboratories processed 2,058 samples, with a daily positivity rate of 23.1 percent.

The deaths were registered in the provinces of Luanda, with 8, and 2 in Malanje.

Angola has 89,251 confirmed cases, 76,342 recoveries, 1,819 deaths and 11,090 active. Of the active cases, 14 are in critical condition, 39 serious, 61 moderate, 102 light and 10.874 asymptomatic.

At treatment centers, 216 patients are hospitalized, while 172 are serving institutional quarantine.
