Covid-19: Angola registers 197 recoveries, 11 new infections

Luanda – The Angolan health authorities announced, this Saturday, 197 recovered patients and 11 new infections on the last 24 hours.

According to the daily bulletin, among those recovered, 87 are resident in Malanje, 46 in Huíla, 24 in Namibe, 13 in Benguela, 11 in Cunene, 11 in Luanda, 6 in Moxico and 2 in Cuando Cubango.

As for the new cases, 6 were registered in Luanda, 2 in Huíla and Zaire, and a single case in Cuando Cubango.

In total, 10 male and 1 female patients, whose ages range from 15 to 70 years old are listed.

Local labs processed 1,503 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of 0.7%.

Angola registers 98,351 cases, with 95,863 recoveries, 1,896 deaths and 592 active.

Of the active there are 2 in severe health conditions, 7 moderate, 18 mild and 565 asymptomatic.

In the treatment centres, 27 patients are hospitalized, while 16 people are in institutional quarantine and 565 in home isolation.
