COVID-19: ANGOLA REPORTS 407 RECOVERIES, 170 NEW CASES

Luanda- Angola announced Thursday the recovery of 407 patients, 170 new cases and 4 deaths, in the last 24 hours.

Among those recovered, according to the daily bulletin, 370 reside in Luanda, 17 in Huambo, 11 in Huila, 6 in Uige and 3 in Cunene.

The new cases, the report said, were 87 diagnosed in Luanda, 18 in Cabinda, 17 in Cuanza Norte, 16 in Cuanza Sul, 14 in Huambo, 5 in Huila, 3 in Malanje, 3 in Cunene, 3 in Uige, 2 in Zaire, 1 in Bengo and 1 in Namibe.

On the list, whose ages range from 1 to 92, are 82 men and 88 women.

The deaths, involving Angolan citizens, were registered in Luanda, with 3, and in Huíla with 1 case.

The laboratories processed 2,232 samples.

The general figure shows 36,325 positive cases, with 815 deaths, 29,960 recovered and 5,550 active. Of the active cases, 9 are critical, 30 serious, 101 moderate, 16 light and 5.394 asymptomatic.
