Luanda – Angola is this Wednesday, hosting the 9th meeting of ministers of Science, Technology and Higher Education of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP), with the aim of boosting cooperation in the sector.
In a press release, the Angolan Ministry for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation said that the event would assess the implementation degree of the Strategic Plan for Multilateral Cooperation for 2014 and 2020, as well as approve a new political agenda for 2026.
Proposals for projects and programmes for intra- and extra-community multilateral cooperation in science, technology and higher education in the CPLP and cooperation between this community and international organisations, as well as civil society, will also be analysed.
Also under debate will be the issue related to “the digital and science in post-Covid-19 societies: challenges and perspectives”.
