Luanda: The Rector of the Methodist University of Angola, Tiago Caungo, stated on Thursday (28) that the National Conference on Human Capital in Angola's sustainable development, set to take place from the 29th to the 30th of the current month in Luanda, will promote in-depth reflection on the country's educational advances and challenges. According to Angola Press News Agency, Tiago Caungo spoke about the conference, a government initiative to mark the 50th anniversary of Angola's independence, and considered this reflection on education to be timely. The conference represents a strategic moment to evaluate the nation's progress in terms of valuing its human resources. "When celebrating the jubilee, it is essential to stop and assess the extent to which development processes have been well-managed and how human capital has been used to advance the country's progress," Caungo explained. He emphasized the importance of analyzing the real contribution to training professionals over the past five decades.
