Luanda:Fish production in Angola has risen from 558,000 tonnes in 2022 to 725,000 tonnes in 2025, marking a 30% growth, as announced by President Joao Lourenço.
According to Angola Press News Agency, President Lourenço made this announcement during the State of the Nation address at the opening of the fifth and final legislative session of the fifth legislative term of the National Assembly.
The President attributed the increase to enhanced productive capacity, better organizational conditions in the sector, and the sustainable use of available resources.
