Ndalatando: The Cuanza-Norte government has allocated 2.1 billion kwanzas to finalize the construction of the Ndalatando market, strategically situated in the city center. The upcoming market is designed to accommodate 30 shops and multiple services, arranged across two floors. According to Angola Press News Agency, the project, which has been dormant for over a decade, is slated for completion within six months and is projected to generate more than 100 jobs. Spanning over an area of 1,972 square meters, the market will boast modular shops, butchers, fishmongers, kiosks, food courts, offices, toilets, storage areas, a courtyard, and a service area. Local governor Joo Diogo Gaspar remarked that the revival of this initiative coincides with the 24th anniversary of Peace and National Reconciliation, underscoring the government's dedication to fostering local development and strengthening the economy. He urged citizens to avoid vandalizing public assets and to remain vigilant against criminal activities, highl ighting the significance of civic responsibility.
