Government of Angola bets on youth entrepreneurship

Talatona – The commitment for the professional training of young people, inclusion in the employment and entrepreneurship environment is one of the main priorities of the Angolan Government, in the process of transformation and economic development of the country.

This statement was made by the secretary of State for Youth, Fernando João, this Tuesday, in the municipality of Talatona in Luanda, during the National Forum on “The role of business incubators, in the promotion of youth and student entrepreneurship”.

According to the official, for being the driving force of society, young people play a fundamental role in the transformation and economic modernisation of the country.

“In order to achieve the best results, in addition to the good initiatives of young promoters and the good functioning of business incubators, we must continue to advocate and work with commercial banks so that they can contribute by offering special financial products to young people”, stressed the official.

The event, organised by the Angolan Youth Institute (IAJ) and the International Higher Polytechnic Institute of Angola (ISIA), addressed topics related to “The process of formalisation, certification and monitoring of business incubators”, “Financial products for the promotion of youth incubators” and “Characterisation of business incubators”.
