GOVERNOR CONSIDERS FINANCIAL INCLUSION A PILLAR FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL WOMEN

Moçâmedes – The governor of Namibe, Archer Mangueira, considered today, in Moçâmedes, financial inclusion a fundamental pillar for the development of rural women.

This financial inclusion obliges the woman who lives in this place to benefit from support, above all, from bank credits in order to have access to services suited to their needs.

Speaking at the ceremony alluding to the World Rural Women’s Day, Archer Mangueira said that financial inclusion will always be the result of education and cultural transformations, where women must gain more and more space.

In this case, according to Archer Mangueira, it will be “integrating the largest group of our population in the process of socioeconomic development”.

She stressed that the government intends, with these days, to analyze the constraints and opportunities for the empowerment of rural women and promote the development of human capital.
