Cairo: The Angolan Head of State, Joo Lourenço, is meeting this Tuesday with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in Cairo, marking the beginning of his visit to this North African country. According to Angola Press News Agency, a meeting with ministerial delegations takes place immediately afterwards, before a session to sign bilateral agreements and a memorandum of understanding between the two countries. The programme scheduled for 12:45pm (10:45am in Angola) includes statements by the two statesmen to the press. President Joo Lourenço will also visit the Pharmaceutical City, in the last event scheduled for Tuesday. On Wednesday, Joo Lourenço's presidential agenda includes a meeting with businesspeople, promoted by the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Foreign Investment. About three hours later, Joo Lourenço arrives at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, before returning to Angola on Thursday.
