Hosts Angola-Norway 2026 Workshop

Luanda: The city of Luanda will host from September 11 to 14 the 2nd Session of the Angola-Norway 2026 Workshop, focused on the construction of a more diverse, sustainable, and innovating economic future for both countries. The meeting, which addresses the Angola/Norway Economic Diversification Co-operation, aims to reinforce the strategic partnership between the two nations, according to a press note from the organisers.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the activity intends to reassert the co-operation that is already expanding to different areas beyond the sectors of crude oil and agriculture, such as industry and technological innovation. The note highlights the event's goal to bring together Norwegian entrepreneurs, Angolan public policy decision-makers, and private sector players to draft pathways for real business opportunities and investment moves, as well as to inspire technology transfer decisions.

The event is being prepared by the Angolan Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Mineral Resources Oil and Gas, Industry and Commerce, in partnership with the Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) and the Angola-Norway Business Council (ANBC).
