Luanda – The President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSMJ), Joel Leonardo, Friday called for greater speed in the processes in the family room of the courts, with a view to improving the response to applicants.
CSMJ president, who was speaking at the yearend greeting ceremony, recommended swift resolution of the issues related to paternity and family, particularly in courts where there is an increasing number of such cases.
As an example, the magistrate referred to cases of widows or deceased, whose cases are processed in the courts to recover the values left behind and the delay in cases related to inheritance.
He advocated improvement in the quality of the work offered to citizens and in the technology segment.
The magistrate acknowledged the work performed by the courts, at the level of the country, during the current year, and encouraged the professionals to continue to develop their trades successfully.
Presided over by the chief judge of the Supreme Court, the Superior Council of the Judiciary is concerned with the management and discipline of the Judicial Magistrates.
