Koupéla Workshop Empowers Public Agents with Digital Access to Administrative Information

Koupéla: The Regional Directorate of the Civil Service of the Center-East organized a workshop in Koupéla from April 8 to 11, 2025, focusing on the creation of access codes for the “Online access to administrative and salary information (ALIAS)” platform. This initiative is aimed at public agents to enhance their access to administrative services.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the workshop, chaired by the High Commissioner of Kouritenga Province, Moctar Ilboudo, took place at the former town hall of Koupéla. The event enabled numerous public officials to become acquainted with the Alias digital tool, which is designed to streamline administrative processes and make information more accessible to users.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Centre-East Regional Directorate of the Civil Service, seeks to enhance user access to essential administrative and salary information through a secure online platform. This development is intended to reduce the necessity for physical visits to regional manage
ment offices.

During the event, the High Commissioner praised the initiative as a step toward modernizing public administration and simplifying service access for state agents. Iliassa Roamba, the regional director of the Civil Service, highlighted the workshop’s objective of introducing the new version of the Alias platform and generating access codes for provincial agents.

Roamba noted the remarkable success of the workshop, stating that 1,916 codes were generated in just two days, thanks to the active participation of decentralized services. He expressed gratitude to the facilitators and local authorities for their contributions to the workshop’s success.

The Alias system is now operational and available to all public officials in the province, excluding military personnel.
