Luanda: The minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Isaac dos Anjos, emphasized the importance of commercialization and logistics value chains for enhancing agricultural production in key consumption centers during a recent address in Luanda.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the minister highlighted during the 23rd edition of the institutional debate Caf©Cipra that the hunger issue in the country is not always due to a lack of food but rather inefficient distribution. He stressed the role of the business sector in generating substantial volumes and noted that government projects, such as the Hula corn triangle, require entrepreneurial support to facilitate trade and transport of products to various locations.
The Caf©Cipra event, themed "Road construction as a lever for national production," saw participation from key government figures including the Ministers of Industry and Commerce, Rui Miguªns, Transport, Ricardo de Abreu, and Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing, Carlos dos Santos.
