Luanda: The modernization program will allow the Road Safety Service to improve its system and meet demand, the Angolan Minister of Interior, Manuel Home, said on Friday in Luanda.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the official, who was speaking to the press in the scope of the inauguration of the Ministry of the Interior's headquarters building, which recently benefited from expansion and rehabilitation works, stressed that the aforementioned system is practically operational.
The minister emphasized the need to address accumulated pending cases, highlighting that the technological upgrade was necessary due to the outdated system that no longer met the needs of the service. This technical change is fundamental to reducing bureaucracy and enhancing service delivery to citizens.
Minister Home explained that citizens can now handle matters online through the platform www.dtser.pn.gov.ao, which allows for online interactions with traffic and road safety departments, including preliminary operations and payments, without the need for in-person visits.
He also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to citizens, who previously faced flooding and complaints at the Traffic and Road Safety Department.
