Moxico leste: The Province of Moxico Leste will host the 6th advisory council of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce scheduled for the 25th and 26th of the current month. The purpose of the meeting is to align public policies aimed at contributing to national production, promoting industrialization, and improving the business environment for economic growth.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the event, taking place under the motto "Integrate, produce and market, paths to sustainable growth", expects to bring together government officials, businesspeople, experts, and institutional partners in the municipality of Luau. During the event, participants will discuss public policies for industrialization, commerce, and the country's competitiveness, for the construction of a more productive, integrated, and sustainable Angola.
During the session, participants will also present solutions to revitalize the Lobito corridor, considered an important axis for the integration of regional and international trade. According to the work agenda that ANGOP had access to on Monday, the event also aims to define strategies for industry and commerce to position themselves as relevant sectors for strengthening and diversifying the national economy.
'Commercial, social and economic and investment potential of Eastern Mexico', 'Industrialization and productive transformation of Angola', 'Evaluation of the implementation of industrial policy and its impact on non-oil GDP growth', 'Impact on production and quality', 'Challenges in the development of industrial hubs and parks', 'Trade restructuring plan', 'Integrated logistics as a factor of competitiveness of national production', and 'EAA as an operational platform linking national production, logistics, wholesale distribution and markets', are some of the topics that will be discussed during the Advisory Council meeting.
Analysis of economic diversification, regional integration and market access, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in the productive sector, focusing on the integrated value chain, and African regional integration as a determining factor for the expansion of industry and trade, are other topics included on the meeting's agenda.
