Cuanza-sul: The first secretary of the ruling MPLA in the province of Cuanza-Sul, Narciso Benedito, called on Tuesday for greater unity and internal cohesion based on the party's ideals. Speaking at the 6th ordinary session of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Cuanza-Sul, he emphasized that unity and cohesion build stability, guarantee continuity, and strengthen the moral authority of the party's organizational structures.
According to Angola Press News Agency, Benedito indicated that loyalty goes beyond formal fidelity, representing a political stance that translates into an active commitment to the ideas, principles, and strategic objectives of the MPLA. During the meeting, the committee reviewed and approved adjustments to the composition of the Ethics and Audit Discipline Commission (CDEA) of the party's Provincial Committee, as well as the memorandum on the organization and functioning of the MPLA's specialized committees, among other matters.
The event was attended by the Coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the MPLA in the province of Cuanza-Sul, Carla Leito.
