MPLA urges Angolans to give credibility to elections

Luanda – The ruling MPLA party’s President João Lourenço highlighted on Saturday in Mbanza Kongo, northern Zaire province, the need for Angolans, in general, to do everything to give credibility to the elections scheduled for 24 August.

Speaking at a mass rally, the leader of the ruling party in Angola, said that it is necessary for all Angolans to give credibility to the elections, no longer questioning the process, in favour of a common cause.

He also highlighted the historical importance of the region, not only for the country but for the world.

In his speech, João Lourenço highlighted the investments in the province of Zaire, in case the party wins the elections on 24 August.
