MPLA vice president highlights party’s “motivation” in Huila

ubango – The MPLA vice-president, Luísa Damião, said Friday in Lubango that her party in Huila province is motivated, united and prepared to win next August’s General Elections.

Luisa Damião said this on the sidelines of a meeting with the MPLA Provincial Executive Committee, where the political situation and the ruling party’s readiness for the elections were reviewed.

The partisan official emphasized that, being Huíla the second biggest electoral centre and always loyal to MPLA, there is a continuous political work, as a result of the engagement of its militants, sympathizers and friends, with prominence for its social organizations (OMA and JMPLA), that had embraced the ideals of the organization, as “defender of noble causes”.

“We are all prepared for this great challenging exercise, the General Elections and we are working, not only, in Huíla, but from Cabinda (north) to Cunene (south), so that we can indeed win the festival of democracy,” she assured.

The Vice President of MPLA admitted that there is in the province, and a little bit for all the country, an engagement of all the militants, for what they count on the intelligence of all, with the vitality of OMA and JMPLA, to win together the challenge that they proposed themselves.
