Luanda – The Commander-General of the National Police Commissioner-General Arnaldo Manuel Carlos Friday in Luanda announced the readiness of Defence and Security bodies to ensure safety during the Christmas and New Year period.
This was during the launch ceremony of the forces and means to secure the Christmas and New Year festive season.
He said that the defence and security forces will not tolerate acts that threaten public order and peace.
The commissioner-general said that the staff should act accordingly with legal requirements, observing and enforcing the laws in force in the country, respecting, in all situations, the principles of police action.
Arnaldo Carlos appealed to citizens to collaborate with the authorities, by denouncing crimes and criminals, as well as any act that disrupts social peace.
