National Production Takes Center Stage at International Cooperation Fair

Luanda: National products and services from key sectors such as agriculture, transport, telecommunications, and the textile and food industries are prominently featured at the 5th edition of the International Cooperation Fair (FEINACO), taking place from the 28th to the 30th of this month in Luanda. The event, hosted at the Paz Flor cultural space in the municipality of Samba, includes participation from 36 exhibitors, both national and international.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the national director of Industry, Alan Varela, emphasized the significance of FEINACO as a valuable opportunity for experience exchange and business networking. He noted that the gathering of representatives from various nations and cultures underscores the importance of multilateralism, economic diplomacy, and solidarity among peoples. Varela also highlighted the fair as a platform for cultural exchange and the formation of partnerships.

Geraldo Michico, the coordinator of the fair, stated that the event aims to foster cooperation between the public-private sector and various diplomatic missions accredited in Angola. He announced participation from exhibitors representing Portugal, China, and Ghana, alongside local Angolan businesses.

Michico also noted the growth of FEINACO over the years, mentioning an increase in both the number of exhibitors and the diversification of products since its inaugural edition, which featured fewer than 10 participants or brands.

The fair runs until next Friday (30), with the doors open from 9 am to 5 pm.
