NBA: Bruno Fernando back to Hawks

Luanda – The Angolan power forward Bruno Fernando left Houston Rockets and is returning to the Atlanta Hawks after a year.

Bruno was traded along with Garrison Mathews, in exchange for Justin Holiday and the forward-centre Frank Kaminsky, according to North American publications in this Friday’s edition.

At the service of Houston, Bruno played 41 games.

The U-16 African champion, in Madagascar, back in 2013, Bruno is the first and only Angolan playing in the NBA.

With 24 years old, 2.08 tall and 109 kg, the Angolan was drafted in 2019.

Graduated from 1.º de Agosto school, he played in college basketball in the US, for the Maryland Terrapins, having been selected in 2019 by the Philadelphia 76ers.
